Good sensible stuff from Roy Hattersley.

People like Hattersley have been pumping this stuff out for 6 years now, with the guardian always a willing vehicle, as it gives it's readers what they want to read.

If you mean by that the UK will never enter a Swiss or Norwegian style economic arrangement with the EU - you may be right - but I suspect common sense/economic necessity will trump this brexit evangelism at some point.
