    starling bank have a great backing app, simple as hell to use and works great

    I went to online banking in the mid-90s, via First Direct (highly recommended, part of HSBC), and I'm still with them. A few years ago, they shifted to phone banking as well. Took me a while to get used to it, but it works fine. Still use my cards for most stuff, though.

    Wasn't telephone banking around in the 80s?before Internet banking?

    Maybe we can set up a separate thread where you and TIT just moan about things moving forward in the world. Good effort though, but online banking is secure and convenient
