It’s not for me, I’m well past that stage. I’m from an era where I’d wait after the games had finished, hoping the away team’s coach driver would allow you on board their team coach to get autographs. No one ever said no.

Lurking around the players entrance for autographs is expressly forbidden in the Supporters Code of Conduct. I expect the reason is to protect supporters from unvaccinated footballers.
