    It's not rocket science...

Keiffer Moore should be scoring goals for fun at this level - a minimum of 20 goals per season.

Play right-footed players on the right, play left-footed players on the left. Get to the byeline and put in good crosses.

    Simple.

    a minimum of 20 goals a season.

something he's only achieved once in his entire career.
in a team that has lost almost all of the assist makers from the previous season

You can have the best striker in the world up front, but he can't do it by himself. Apart from Giles, we have no service into the box. We also need a strong midfield, to give those wide players something to work with. We have a long way to go yet. Bringing Wintle back might be a start.

True but there is an argument that says that he has proved that he can do it, so he could score 25 - that should be his goal now and it is the job of the manager to motivate him to do so.

Just saying that doing it once was a flash in the pan (it might prove to be at the end of his career) is hardly good management.

Nothing about Mick makes me angrier than seeing Kieffer Moore, a great header of the ball, in the box and Giles, a great crosser of the ball, in a great position to cross having beaten the defender but the ball's on his wrong foot. JUST PLAY THE LEFT WINGER ON THE LEFT

There's a train of thought that crossing is overrated (see also corners). We've done quite well with them in recent years particularly in set-pieces but generally they don't go anywhere and an organised defence can deal with them. Perhaps playing wingers on the "wrong" side enables a more dangerous cross instead of one out wide that is going away from goal?

However, Man City used to (and possibly still do) look for something called Area 15 (? Probably not the right number) which is nearer to the side edge of the penalty area. Apparently if you can get players in there to cross then that makes all the difference. I don't know, I don't make the rules.

Overlapping full backs might have helped instead of centre halves on the flank.
