Someone up there doesn’t like Cardiff City!

Failing to score from twenty seven goal attempts does rather tell a story however.

Yes, its typical. When your locks out, it's out.
We needed a lucky deflection yesterday, but didnt get it. Hopefully a change will come in a fortnight.

27 attempts and only 5 on target says more about the players on the pitch than whatever's "up there".

Let's be fair. We all witness games where one side has all the chances and the other scores. City were a tad unfortunate and it was difficult to be too harsh on them in this particular game.

Missing multiple opportunities in a game when on the whole you aren't playing well is relegation form.

There is no doubt in my mind if we dont change the manager , we are going down . Saturday confirmed that for me , we should have won that game.

We had 12 shots blocked to be fair...

That's how low we've sunk. Blocked shots are seen as a positive

We've blocked 25 all season, 4th lowest in the division.

Just pointing out that it's not as bad as it looks, 27 shots 5 on target makes it sound 22 were ballooned over the bar! Reading put in some very brave blocks in fairness to them

I tried to get over that we were our own worst enemies in many ways. The defence caved in the only time it was put under any real pressure, the midfield, although improved, did not move the ball quickly enough for me (that did get harder the more Reading sat back mind) and, as you say, twenty two off target attempts does not reflect well on our finishing. However, it is still reasonable to conclude that we were very unlucky to lose - it's a cliche, but we'll play a lot worse than that and win in the coming months (in fact, I'd say we did in beating Millwall and Forest).
