    That's superb.

I remember listening to the Radio Wales commentary at the time. Ridiculously nerve-wracking as it got closer to full time.

I was there. Great day. Probably the only time I'll ever see it.

Remember listening to the Radio 5 phone in on the coach on the way back and every other call was a fan talking about the game.

    Crazy and eventful day.

A few goosebumps listening back to that. Thanks for posting.

Does tickle me that the commentator says great save for the handball on the line as that is what a lot of City fans thought at virtually pitch level at the other end.

One of the best days following City easily.

I was also there. Four of us travelled there in the car for what was a familiar trip for me as i lived in Cambridge for a couple of years (village of Madingley just outside city) travelling back to Cardiff most weekends to watch City play at home (was supposed to be to visit family!)

What a day that was, thanks for the commentary hadn’t heard it for a while.

I was 13. One of my first away trips. Hallworth's Penalty save was magic. Who was it that hand balled on the line?

"Eight men, we only need eight men"

How amazing is that! I was there with my leg in plaster and on crutches. Was right at the front of the stand when the final whistle went, got swamped, almost fell over and loved every second of it. That's the Cardiff City I fell in love with.

Top five away games for sure, thanks for posting!

    Lee Phillips, I think

Our three sent off were Perrett, Middleton and Phillips I think. In that order.

Didn’t go but I remember listening and I’m sure it was Rob Phillips describing Winston Faber breaking out of defence late and instead of holding the ball in the corner, he crossed the ball into the box to nobody - we were back under pressure as he was too knackered to get back.

Them were the days when we were grateful.

I know this isn't in the same league game as this, but didn't we play Leicester some time in the late 2000s at home, won 2-1 but Gyepes got sent off and we had Paul Quinn at centre back marking Steve Howard? I remember there being quite an atmosphere then as we clung on to 3 points.

    “Grabor” Gyepes.

Surprised the Cardiff Blues never signed him after that.
