This is the 6th time we've lost 6 league games on the bounce.

The first time was the first 6 games we ever played in the old first division in 1921. We recovered to finish 4th in the table, 9 points away from the title.

The following season we lost 6 on the trot but still finished 9th, making Fred Stewart the only Cardiff manager to have lost 6 on the trot on more than one occasion.

We next lost 6 on the bounce in 1933/34 under Bartley Wilson. Actually we lost 7 league games in a row for the only time in our history as part of a winless run of 13.

We didn't lose 6 on the spin for almost half a century until 1981/1982 when Graham Williams was manager. It cost him his job as part of a run of 12 games where we only won 1 and drew 1. We went on to be relegated.

Alan Durban suffered a similar run in 1985/86. There was also an FA cup defeat in that run. One win over Wigan was our only unbeaten game in 13.

If we lose to Fulham we equal our worst ever run of league defeats. Guess who will be the manager looking to create the worst ever run of league defeats? Warnock.
