    Off Topic Loaded fries

Been checking out this nice guy from up north https://www.youtube.com/c/RateMyTakeawayand seeing how the food culture has changed in UK.
My first loaded fries was Caroline street around 1976.
What is your experience of this old/new phenomena?

Came across few of his vids.

There was a family feast box he had in Scotland, basically everything you could think of in batter, looked horrible.

I love how he just takes his collapsible table everywhere though, full English outside some random terraced house

I've never understood chip shop 'cheese chips n curry' - disgusting.

Curry sauce n chips with a steak & kidney pie on top is just perfect

A bit of brown sauce on the side, aswell as the curry sauce, is a great Saturday night favourite for me.

Fish fingers and chips, red sauce and a couple of rounds of bread and butter. Fish finger sandwiches....gorgeous. What’s all this ‘fries’ malarkey? I’m finished with town if pricks start calling Caroline St Friey Lane or Fry Alley.

    Heretic!

Don’t put the curry sauce on the chips they go all soggy.

Put the sauce on the side or leave in the pot for dipping. What’s the world coming to?
