    ORIONID METEOR SHOWER TONIGHT

Should be well worth watching, especially if it remains relatively cloudless tonight. Between midnight and dawn, 20 meteors an hour are expected at its peak. Get out a comfy chair and wrap up warm !

Below the horizon here at the moment, there's usually too much light pollution anyway. And with the bright moonlight we currently have I doubt I'll see anything.

Hadn't realised there was a predicted shower but saw a really large one whilst walking dog earlier, bright green trail, visible for 3 or 4 seconds.

Tend to agree with you. Was in the back garden last night for about 40mins until 1am and saw absolutely nothing. Mind you the moon was nearly full and directly overhead, which didn't help.

Other meteor showers I've seen have been great but certainly not this one.
