Wonder if he'd be coach working with a Director of Football? Any more news on that possibility? Dalman seemed keen on the idea.

A risk but I'd feel so much more excited about the potential of someone like this than another one of the English managerial merry go rounders

I like what I read about him.....as a comment on WOL said "hope we don't end up with a disappointing appointment at the end of this as Beale, Barry-Murphy, Lowe etc are exactly what the fans have craved for so long". Agree entirely.

I'm glad we are looking at these types..
I don't want us bringing in Pulis , Hughes or Houghton or similar

Judging by this, we seem serious about looking at people like him, Barry Murphy and Morris.

I'm glad we seem to be thinking outside the box a little bit and going for different styles of managers. I'm still expecting the inevitable Pulis appointment though.

A few days ago we were told Tan wants his manager playing direct football.

Now its a modern approach is favoured.

I’d be surprised if any up and coming assistant / academy coach would want their future potential tarnished by taking on the challenge here at the moment.

If and big if that Tan interferes on tactics and that no out of contract player can be offered a contract and theres no funds for the next 2 windows then yeah isnt happening.

Interesting couple of weeks coming up.

Maybe eight successive defeats and a string of awful performances have prompted a rethink?
