Why would we forget the come back? Instead build on the 2nd half performance. Confidence must be sky high including the defence who now know one goal won't kill us off.

That’s what will be the talking point at the next training session ? It’s a good draw away from home, but if Stoke wee any good, they wouldn’t have let 3 in so quickly. The City fans up there must have been checking their calendars to make sure Xmas wasn’t any earlier. Good performances start with the centre forward defending as good as the leaky defence should be. Still. It’s a good draw when all is said and done. Come the end of this season, they may well be thankful for it.

If my aunty had bollocks she would be my uncle
the way they came back was great....i ..we knew we would let in goals ffs, but i had no idea that we would score..let alone three
After their 2nd goal you could see the low confidence of the players drain away completely, no one wanted the ball and was hard to watch, the speculative shot from Colwill has had quite bit of dip on it, albeit their keeper should have kept it out, and with Kiefer getting on the sheet just maybe the season will be salvaged (no relegation), Colwill I think, and with a long way to go will be the positive of the season.
Our biggest strength over the years has been that solid back four , and we built our confidence on that base ,what went wrong .
Confidence is key to everything with us. It was definitely notable as soon as we conceded the first our heads completely dropped. Yes defensively it was a horror show for the 3 goals but we need to over look it given the current circumstances and take these small victories and use them as a platform to build ourselves again. Yes we conceded 3 but it was the first time all season with scored 3 goals from open play in a game and we actually looked like winning a game. Let's take positives from this game
Maybe the fact that opponents will now have to consider our attacking threat again will affect they way they attack our defence (committing fewer players forward).
Attack may be the best form of defence with our current squad.
They have their talisman Nick Powell out injured and don't appear to be in their best form. Still, an unexpected point.
After the previous 8 games, it’s a step in the right direction and a point closer to safety. Hopefully, it will give the players and management something to build on.
At this point, that is no bad thing.
Goal 2 wasn’t anyone’s fault, just a big deflection that took it away from the keeper. Teams like Man City and Liverpool couldn’t have dealt with that any better.
Goal 3 as well was a very good chip from the Stoke player. Perhaps Smithies could’ve done better to stay on his line but it was still a quality finish.
I think a draw was a fair result on the balance of play and 3 goals flatters both sides on clear cut chances created. We have to look at the positives that we competed with a side in or about the play offs, away from home and earned a deserved point, with almost half the first team missing.
