Thread: We got out of jail today

We got out of jail today

    Absolutely delighted that we won.
In part our performance was much improved but at at times it was very disappointing and frustrating.
We have undoubtedly and thankfully moved away from hoof ball and everybody worked hard but we just don’t have enough players making runs into space and supporting breakaways and our defence is too easily split open. With better finishing Huddersfield could easily have had at least two more.
We won and I am grateful for that but 4pts from 9 could so easily have been 1 from 9.

    Onwards and hopefully upwards.

But it wasn't 1 from 9 and it WAS 4.

It's better to look at the progress made since MM left and Morison came in and see how it goes over a few weeks. Not a.lot is going to change in a short time and we are still the same confidence ridden team we were a few weeks back it's going to be a slow change.

Today it was our turn for luck and about time.
In this horrendous run we have had, there has been a number of narrow losses where we could have got a point with that bit of luck even championship winning teams need

Huddersfield really would and should have been of site if they had played us a few weeks ago.

Only Cardiff fans could turn a win into a negative by saying, "well we could have lost" 🤦🏼*♂️

We won for the first time in what seems like 50 years, can't we just enjoy that?

Could just as easily have been 3 from 9 or 2 from 9. If the linesman at stoke messed up an extra 2 points. Always fine lines.

It is what it is, every half since the first half against stoke we have been in the game, same couldn’t be said under MM.
