Winning away is just the best feeling!

And a first half goal as well, although in typical Cardiff City fashion, we couldn’t celebrate it in real time as it wasn’t clear to us that the ball had gone in (we were at the far end and had to rely on the delayed reaction of the players). But who cares.

We should have been further ahead after a very positive start to the second half but Luton came back into the game and it was no surprise to anyone when they scored, from what looked like a mistake by Nelson. The biggest surprise was that Morison didn’t change anything as it was so clear that Luton had gained the advantage and we just couldn’t keep the ball.

It was even more surprising when Colwill was subbed as he always looks a threat (I’d assumed that Collins would be the player replaced as he didn’t do much), but Morrison’s winning header right in front of us made it all irrelevant. Great scenes.

Luton weren’t up to much and Ralls added much more dynamism in midfield.
