    Mark McGuinness

What a cracking signing he's turning out to be
Still learning at his age i think he will be a great asset to us for years to come..

yes a major positive from this season.
he's had a couple of errors but generally been very good.
if we'd have been playing flint Morrison and Nelson every week when they are all available then we would be moving into the summer with potentially only Nelson still here for next season. McGuiness coming through the way he has has made the recruitment process a lot easier for that position

I think he's only 20 aswell? He will make bad decisions and errors but i'd rather see that from someone learning than from a seasoned experienced player

2 more centre backs like him and we'd be a very different team.

Connolly and Denham in the u23s look promising.

But too much to expect them to just step in for Mozzer and Flint next summer.

Experience and continuity needed as well as pace and technical skills.

He is certainly a ready made replacement for Flint/Morrison. We still need someone more comfortable on the ball.

Since I read your post I've been going through every game he's played for us to try and find reasons to say he's terrible but I couldn't

    I'll agree as well.

At this rate you may reach double figures.

I agree. I was a little concerned his confidence would be shot after the 8 game winless run, but he's shown great maturity for someone so young.

I agree he does look a great prospect, well done too whoever scouted him.

Young Oliver Denham in the U23 is also a good centre back prospect
