No one has though. All that was said was not all politicians are the same after someone said they were.

Then you started posting links to labour corruption. Whataboutism at its finest.

No one else has mentioned or chosen “their side” in this thread. Just for some reason the dense in this thread treat politics like football and think anyone criticising the the corruption of the incumbent government must be labour supporters who would be equally biased, and it’s nonsense.

This was the origin post and it’s spot on. I would trust every previous Tory government over this one.

Never have we had such a group of obviously slimy *****. And it isn’t just corruption it’s hypocrisy too. Breaking rules while pushing them on us proles for 2 years.

I'm saying corruption can occur across the spectrum and it's wrong.

Others seem to think 'their side' are incapable of it. Therefore a few examples may prove them wrong in that.
I haven't said it's only one party. I haven't seen anyone say that.

I said that this lot are worse than others. Read what is said, not what you'd like to be said.

Wrong. Numerous posts on here insinuate and state that its always the Tories and that the corruption is the worst examples of any government ever etc etc.

Sorry, that's false and hyperbole. Nothing wrong with me saying that and providing examples.

The Tories should be condemned, but don't think the curse of corruption doesn't haunt other parties because it does.

Exactly. In fact, this argument is kinder on the Tories because it means they are usually a lot better than this. James doesn't realise he's damning them more by saying the current behaviour is usual.

I can’t believe we’ve reached the point where anyone criticising the government must be supporters of a different party.

I criticised Blair’s government as much as I have any other. There’s nothing wrong with criticising a party you’ve voted for if they’re scumbags. It’s the exact point of democracy.

Just because you voted for a party doesn’t mean you have to support, defend and agree with everything they do.

No one said it didn’t. They said not all politicians are corrupt.

Give me John Major over these shameless cretins any day.

No, you didn't, but you said it was a lot worse than other governments and I would argue that that probably isn't true. It just seems worse at the time as other corruption scandals get forgotton.

And I tried to illustrate that.

Then Croesy woke up from god knows what he's been doing and called me a freak and here we are.

The reality is corruption scandals are nothing new at all. They stalk all governments. Blair's Govt was rooted in it. You just tend to forget them as time moves on.

No, not stereotypes just plain truth. There's nothing more corrupt than a Tory. Sleaze, greed and selfishness. What a wonderful benefit to humankind.

Most governments in your lifetime have been Tory, so you are saying that the Tories are usually as bad as this, and I don't think that's true.

The Tories do not usually operate on this level. I'm actually defending them in general!

It's always gone on. You think the lobbying is new? The outside earnings? Cash for questions? Favours for mates?

None of it is remotely new

    I'm happy to damn them!

I'm just not happy with others donning red roses and dog collars and praising Jesus like saints

You are being a complete boot licking servile freak. Just because you voted for someone doesn’t mean you can’t criticise them.

I have criticised them. On numerous times, today! On this very thread you are writing on!

The fact I'm also criticising you doesnt mean I've not criticised them.

I think you accidentally copied in your porn hub search text with that boot licking servile freak line

He should read the thread about Labour leaders - as always with threads about that party, many Tory critics on here were also critical of the Labour Party.

Johnson's lot have taken the lying and corruption to a whole new level.
And it's not just because of the pandemic either.
When you elect a Prime Minister who's been sacked twice for lying, don't expect anything different.

Politicians and lying, wow there’s a new phenomenon. Any remember Tony Bliar? Even changed his name slightly to suit him better
