    If that is what Morison is actually doing ten it’s an evolutionary approach to game management provided that he has the players to make it work in the long term

    Some players may be more effective off the bench when the opposition are more stretched and tired, but with just 3 subs it isn't possible to send on finishers in the same way that Eddie Jones did with the England rugby squad. Maybe more of an option last season with the 5 subs, when Ismael used to run his Barnsley team into the ground then send on 5 fresh forwards after about an hour.

    the egg does have more forwards, running 3 players into the ground and pulling defenders with them is interesting.
