What the hell was a professional football team doing having a Christmas night out in the middle of Bristol, in a pandemic. Totally irresponsible from a health point of view, never mind the fact that one of their players got beat up. No doubt a Covid outbreak in the squad will follow shortly.
The players have guidelines they set themselves
What a load of bollocks
If you allow a group of young men with a bit of money out on the town then unless they don't drink alcohol something either amusing or dodgy will happen
There's no reason for them not to go out. Footballers are people too.
People are getting a bit carried away. From watching the news you would be forgiven for panic buying and prepping for the end days.
I was out with work last week, smaller do than usual but still good numbers. Did a LFT before as I'd usually do before going to the office anyway. A good time was had by all, much needed. None of those that went have been unwell or tested positive as far as I'm aware.
For a Friday a couple of weeks before Christmas though it was quite quiet. I don't know how some of these places survive.
Footballers are young men, if the club do is cancelled they are still out socialising as they normally would do.
The bloke's been attacked on a night out and people are blaming him?
You all need to give your head a wobble.
You just know before opening these threads the types of comments and the people going to be making them
It was another player who decked him.
