Really? He was either on the floor, bouncing off defenders or mistiming his run. Can see the potential, he needs to find the space and play away from the defenders. Didn’t see anything better than Harris has.

Originally on BBC website there was no confirmation. There is now.

He should not have been allowed to stay on the pitch at the end to applaud the Cardiff fans.

Twice he was in and mis timed his run. Atleast he was in a position to get it wrong though, that's positive

    Strange pair them commentators.

"He's got him round the throat" for the pen. Not when close on the clip I saw..

Haven’t seen any replays but their goal looked office and they could have had a pen at the end.
makes sense, you would probably find a pen in an office

they're almost always given, I never think they should be though, no way was the contact enough to bring him down. can see why they're annoyed though

SSN all about the penalty not given at the end but haven't even mentioned their miles offside "goal".

    Dreadful defending at the death.
    Hadn't the whistle gone?

Exactly, no way was there enough pressure to bring him down, the way he goes down makes that pretty obvious as well

‘Nine Men West Brom, held by Cardiff’ according to the BBC. How ridiculous.

Obviously. It happened at the death and caused all the action at the final whistle. Its the bigger talking point.

On the Sky Red Button the commentary said Pack but there was such chaos at the end it could have been Flint. The WBA manager was to blame for all of this and I'm sure the authorities will do something about that retrospectively.

Re: FT: WEST BROMWICH ALBION 1 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

We had no idea what to do once they went down to 10 which is disappointing

    Decent point though

Supposedly there was an altercation in the dugout with West Brom fans shouting at Vaulks that he's a cheat etc, pathetic. That challenge was awful and Vaulks could have been seriously injured

So you reckon if the roles were reversed they would not have mentioned the equalising goal?

We are part of the narrative, which ain't in our favour.

    Not paranoia, just fact.

We don't seem to have much going forward - anything attacking was dependent on Giles or a set-piece. Generally solid though and more than I expected.

    Yeah, very little going forward

I suppose the issues is the midfield was very much one that would be described as "functional" rather than creative and clearly the plan was to be solid, that all changes when they go down to 10
