    NG

Almost every West Brom attack came down his side today. Seems to me he’s caught out of position a lot.

Think he’s only successful in a back 4

He's not very convincing for me.

Does seem to have lost some confidence this season.

Yep spot on , looked good when he first came, sadly hasn't looked good in the new set up.

I wonder if he'd be good in the back 3, certainly more Mobile and better on the ball than any of the current lot

I agree. I rated him when he arrived but he makes me nervous now, and it appears that opposing teams target him now.

Hopefully he’ll come through what is just a sticky patch.

    Agree, I really think it’s a form/confidence issue.

Flashed one ball across the box no one picked up on but needs to be more solid positionally in defence.

I've wanted us to try it for ages, he's clearly not a wing back

Today showed how much we lack pace centrally. Play McGuiness as the central defender NG right and Nelson left.

    Re: NG

When Giles gets forward, Nelson covers for him. When Ng gets forward, McGuinness should do the same, but he doesn't do it every time - he's a centre back, so he tends to stay central.

He, like Bagan, is a pure full back. Neither at present, have what it takes to play as a wing back.
