You seriously think these tactics are the same as Micks?

Come off it. We are clearly trying to pass it more and keep possession.

Unfortunately the squad isnt very good.

There needs to be a big overhaul of the squad but in no way these are Micks tactics.

Why Colwill went off and not Vaulks i have no idea thoughm

Why take Davies off? He's looked our most dangerous player.

    Davies off for Evans

Please Steve, remove Vaulks from the field of play, I'm begging you

Looks like they need him for his long throws. Our only threat on goal

Same reason Davies was carpeted the other day and nobody else perhaps.
Young and less likely to moan?

Is Wintle playing as a 10? I thought he was a deep midfielder?

Maybe he is trying to keep more possession but agreed he's not picking the team to do it. Why on Earth is he sticking with Pack and Vaulks? Like you said it should have been Vaulks taken off for Wintle.

I'm also getting really tired of this 3 centre backs formation. I was hoping he was going to shake things up but I think if anything were going backwards on the evidence of the last 3 games.

    Only SM knows!
I just hope he thinks he'd like to keep him fairly fresh for Blackburn. Doubt it though.

This Drakeford knows what he’s doing, watching this at home is a touch more preferable than being in the ground

He is which makes the Colwill subbing even more baffling.

He is. We haven't got any attacking midfielders except the one he decided to take off.

Strange that when he took brown off for Harris I thought at least he's going for the win.
Now I really don't know what he's going for, unless he's brought on specialist pelanty takers

Unfortunately gone to extra time.I am so bored I might turn over to watch love your garden.
I know there is a shortage of decent players in the squad but I am wondering if Morison should be in charge next season.
We have no real idea and struggle to keep possession for 3 passes.
If I was Moore I would be looking to get away.
Surely Preston will get the winner

My Welsh is not as good as it was, but I am hearing "siomedig" a lot.

Vaulks, as well as being shit, is clearly knackered. Get him off.

It is awful stuff...glad I didn't have to pay a tenner to watch this.......and STILL he does not take Vaulks off!!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v PRESTON NORTH END. Match thread

Jesus! No one even has the gumption to line up behind Morrison for the flick-on.

decent effort from Harris then, and Wintle looks to have good control and a bit more mobile than the other midfielders

    Yes agree on both points

Have we had a shot in the last hour?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v PRESTON NORTH END. Match thread

As someone mentioned about Collins earlier in the thread, I can't see what he offers us.

In fairness he's a bit of a workhorse and covers lots of ground but at best he's just a slogger.

He is a worker bee that should play alongside a much better striker
