The potential is there, but the debt Tan has run up outweighs that. I doubt you could buy Cardiff City for $50M.

At some point, he will sell up and walk away. He's not getting any younger, and unfortunately, I can't see any of his heirs waiting in the wings to step in, when the time comes. I guess the Sala case (and others) are an issue at the moment, but he'll sell when he's ready. Within the next five years, I reckon.
