Has anyone got the Red Button working for the English commentary? 🤷*♂️

Glad I'm not the only one. I must have pressed the red button a hundred times and still hear the Welsh language including that woman with the awful voice.

Not me. No red button on my screen and nothing happening when I press the red button on my remote.

Logic would indicate that listening to the dulcet tones of Joe Ledley indicates the English language commentary is available... unfortunately.

On the Sky platform, channel 104 for S4C HD - there should be a microphone icon with red button top right of screen. Press red button on Sky remote, a panel opens up top right, top option being English commentary. Unsurprisingly, pressing select on the remote leads to English commentary.

    from a quick google:

Here's a useful little tip. In the audio settings on SkyQ set the default language to WELSH.

Due to the way the languages are done in the UK you'll always get English where it is the only available language on a channel.

When S4C is available on both WELSH and ENGLISH - it will automatically choose ENGLISH and you don't need to use the red button.

Can’t get it in the living room, quite comfy laying on the bed watching it with English commentary though.

    Re: Red Button?

On your mini box go into Settings, Set Up, Preferences then select Audio Language Welsh.
You will then have English commentary on S4C without the red button.

Use the home button, down to settings, right to set up, preferences, audio language & change it to "Welsh."
