    Sunderland v Lincoln looked tasty.
Maguire hat trick. Maguire was given the boot by Lee Johnson last year. He let Johnson know by celebrating in his face after scoring the first.
Bit of a scuffle at the final whistle involving quite a few players from both sides. Lee Johnson gets involved and then gets sent off!

That’s Tim Dellor. ****ing clueless. We left when the fourth went in. I have never left a game so early in 50 years. We are heading down alright. We have 14 out now including Yiadom and Rahman playing in the African Nations Cup. I have never known a season as demoralising as this. Those players that are not injured are not match fit. We fall apart in the second half of matches because the players are tired. **** knows what is happening in training.

a reading fan I know keeps saying that "when we get our players back we will be fine" just it doesn't seem to ever happen.

In 2018 Moore signed a new five-year contract now worth about £35,000 per week, making him one of the club’s highest earners

oof, that makes our contracts seem sensible.

That was the year before Reading sold Leo Bacuna to us.... on a four and a half year deal for allegedly megabucks in salary.

It was a different world back then - but not a better world!

Reading also cancelled goalkeeper Rafael's contract by mutual consent last week. He has dropped out of favour but was a mainstay of their side for the past two years. Cost cutting?

we were at least in the premier League at the time, and it was for a lower amount, by 2018 Reading had already stopped receiving parachute payments, so they should have been slashing costs like us and Swansea have had to do

The problem was the owners saw us reach the play off final in 2017 so threw money at the squad to push for promotion. That included giving Moore a ridiculous and very long contract.
Moore now wants out. There is a lot to it including an allegation of racism against one of your young black players where the player apparently went to Moore for advice and was told to not go to the Police.

We are a club in crisis.

Yes and no. Yes in that Rafael is on £20k a week so we save half a million by ending his contract. No in that he was no longer first choice and would warm the bench for the rest of the season had he stayed.
