We have 14 out now including Yiadom and Rahman playing in the African Nations Cup. I have never known a season as demoralising as this. Those players that are not injured are not match fit. we were at least in the premier League at the time, and it was for a lower amount, by 2018 Reading had already stopped receiving parachute payments, so they should have been slashing costs like us and Swansea have had to do
The problem was the owners saw us reach the play off final in 2017 so threw money at the squad to push for promotion. That included giving Moore a ridiculous and very long contract.
Moore now wants out. There is a lot to it including an allegation of racism against one of your young black players where the player apparently went to Moore for advice and was told to not go to the Police.

Yes and no. Yes in that Rafael is on £20k a week so we save half a million by ending his contract. No in that he was no longer first choice and would warm the bench for the rest of the season had he stayed.
