She was the lead singer of some of the most iconic music ever produced.
I bought a box-set of the Spector Sound. It is uplifting.
Sadly, her personal life was not the best at the hands of her husband.

I was only five or six when the Ronettes we’re having their hits, so it doesn’t apply to me, but a few slightly older men have said to me that Ronnie Spector was their first “love”. I know Phil Spector is a mad, bad man, but I still love so much of the stuff he produced in the early sixties - Be My Baby is a superb record.
