Saturday / Sunday football. 15t/16th January

    FT: Cardiff 0 - 1 Blackburn
FT: Luton 3 - 2 Bournemouth (Cameron Jerome with one of Luton's goals)

    In play at the moment.

There's a cracker at Craven Cottage, not HT yet and it's Fulham 4 - 2 Bristol City

Peterborough are losing 1 - 2 at home to Coventry (suits us for Peterborough to lose)
Derby are 0 - 0 with Sheff Utd

Jacks losing 1-0 away at Huddersfield

Elsewhere Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has scored for Shew Weds today.

Norwich are 2-0 up over Everton. Rafa must be walking a tight rope there

    Derby 1 up as well

And now Fulham have six. A stunner from Kebano

Derby 1 up (Tom Lawrence I think) and everyone was taking the p*ss out of Rooney not that long ago. I reckon they'll finish above us if they aren't kicked out or have more deductions.

    Edit: sorry Mike, cross-posted.

    Re: Saturday football. 15th January

Derby would be around 10th with their haul of points.

    Re: Saturday football. 15th January

Mitrovic has now scored more league goals than us this season.

    FT: Derby 2 - 0 Sheff Utd

Derby on 14pts, above Barnsley on GD. Cardiff are on 23pts.

Anthony Pilkington off the bench to win it for Fleetwood. Super sub!

Could Derby win three more games than us until the end of the season? Maybe we should hope Benitez gets sacked and they give the job to Rooney.

    Re: Saturday football. 15th January

Just eyeballing the table it's only us and Barnsley who haven't managed a win in their last 5. We're superglued to position 20 having been saved today by Reading managing to lose after going 0-1 up and Peterborough being Peterborough.

The thing is, that's relying on other clubs to do us favours. We're not winning at home. That's a big worry as it's been all season.

Edit: add Reading to that list too. They haven't won in 5 either. So, it's us three in the fight if Derby aren't penalised further.

I actually hadn't factored in Derby overtaking us, but put like that, yes, I certainly think they could. I would say probably more than possibly.

They should have to sell a lot of their players in this window which ought to make that less likely

Sheffield United, Birmingham, Bournemouth, West Brom and Blackburn are our last 5 aren't they? That's a fairly tough run. Two creditable away draws and I think had Morrison not been sent off we'd have held on against Sheffield United. The next 5 (Bristol City, Forest, Barnsley, Posh, Millwall) should yield more points. If it doesn't then we're f*cked.
