City dominate possession, but struggle to create chances against an ordinary looking Blackburn.

It’s a team with no identity, like a team in limbo. Players out of contract not knowing where they’ll be, youngsters not yet established, manager on a short term contract. So many people with uncertain futures, no stability & difficult to commit. The club has allowed this situation to develop, it’s a mindset , psychological state which has lost the positivity built over the previous two decades.

This isn’t a team in transition, it’s a disjointed club without any plan for the future.

It appears that the hierarchy are prepared to let the Club drop to the depths of the League. Why would they want this to happen? It doesn't make sense.

I think we should wait a fortnight or so to see what the squad looks like then, it’s the lack of joined up thinking Des alluded to that I find more concerning.

This is a key distinction. You can play youngsters as part of a plan and bring them in or you can just end up chucking them in as you have nothing else. No need to guess which one we are!
