This is getting silly now from the FAW perspective.
Thankfully we have been able to put all that into the background on the pitch so far.
Got to feel for Giggs and his career being on hold - IF he is acquitted.

His court case has been adjourned until August.

I wonder if Robert Page will now want anything more than just a Caretaker role, whether we qualify or not for the World Cup.

Rob Page was appointed Caretaker Wales Manager on 3 November 2020.
If the FAW just leave things as they are he will become the longest serving caretaker manager in history, won't he? Certainly in the UK.
It is rare to see a caretaker in post over 6 months. If Page stays as caretaker until the end of the Giggs trial (if it takes place then with all the other pressures on the court system) he will have clocked up over 23 months minimum.
The Guardian did a feature on football caretaker managers back in 2008. Rob Page leaves Tony Parkes dead in the water!

The trial is due to take place in between both sets of Nations League fixtures. It would be crazy to have Page in the job for the first round (assuming he stays on after the WC playoff) and potentially Giggs for the second.
Giggs is a Cnut …anyone with an ounce of decency would have stepped down long ago.
Pagey should get the gig till we qualify or not, it would be a travesty to let him manage the first game, then get Giggs back for the final
Is Giggs still being paid?
