He played 90 but he was the only home grown academy lad that didn’t feature at all on Sunday. So much for using Anfield as a reward for the young lads who’ve been involved this season.

He’s well down the pecking order under Morison unfortunately.

because he was out for like 3 months with an injury.
he captained the u23s the other day

That’s the team I would have gone for as well. Glad NG has remained in the back 3, really hope Bagan will step up now as we really need him to make that position his own.

Because he was the most senior player left in the under 23s. 2/3/4 years older than the rest of the players ffs.

The 20 minutes given to Doyle could easily have been given to Bowen if he really wanted to reward all of the homegrown lads. Just made to sit on the bench like Bacuna with no chance of getting on.

Look, I know the situation better than you do with some of these under 23 lads, so just enjoy the game and stop saying the opposite to everything I’m saying like some kind of weird stalker.

Definitely the best team from those available, hopefully Colwill to come on and make an impact 2nd half.

You can spin it off how you fancy lad, I'm not bothered.

But Bowen and the other lads are professional footballers, knuckle down and prove Morison wrong if that's the case that he doesn't fancy them etc, they don't need some bloke on some small corner of the Internet fighting their battles for them, its like sending your weird pissed uncle to confront the playground bully..

It's admirable. But let them get on with it.

Yeah agree, he’s certainly the type of player for this time of game if things are tight.

    LOL

Says the prat who gets into petty internet squabbles on a daily basis and threads locked on a regular basis. That’s some irony

I’ll post what I want fella. If you don’t like it you know where the ignore function is.

Now if you don’t mind this the match thread, let’s not derail it, so go ahead and have the last word like you always do and leave the rest of the posters post about the match 👍🏻
