That's all well and good saying that but our government just unleashed pathetic sanctions against Russia. Our government impose worse sanctions against its own population ffs. Weak sanctions will continue because they receive donations from that country. It's about time those who voted for this realise what they've voted up and be shamed because me and the majority of young people are fed up of the anchor that is the elderly in this country and their voting patterns.

I'm not sure how long people can stay there though.

I was just pointing out that the very few remaining veterans of that conflict who put their lives on the line against Hitler's tyranny are unlikely to be the people Doucas was having a go at when he referenced the "elderly".

I'm just off to bed in tears having watched this. We have three of our grandchildren staying with us for a few days during half-term and I imagined my son having to say goodbye to them like that Ukrainian dad had to do to his little daughter.

It makes you wonder just how long the vast majority of human beings are continually gonna let the minority instil fear in them, and rule and ruin their lives.
Nobody in their right mind wants war. Most folk anywhere in the world are peace loving.
Littered through history though, are power hungry psychopaths who manoeuvre themselves into power, and amazingly guide the fate of millions, causing mass murder and untold misery.
We really are lemming like, and readily willing to be lambs to the slaughter.
