Don't worry, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is on the case.

If there is anything to investigate then they should do so and I'm sure they will. It's very routine for MP's to be queried on donations and expenses etc.

Xenophobic as hell to assume that any British-Russian giving a political donation in the past few years is automatically tied to the Kremline though, let alone that it meant it curried favour.

Need to investigate the whole of :

SNP in particular the Alex Salmond and the potential support for Scottish Independence ( Trident )
    .
Gordon Brown x-Labour leader declared payment form a Russian business to the tune of £124,494

The first evidence of Russian attempts to influence the result of the general election by promoting the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, has emerged in a ground-breaking investigation into social media by this newspaper.

Swansea University discovered 6.5k Russian twitter accounts rally behind JC just before 2019 election , putting down Conservative election rivals.

Billionaire Elena Baturina, 56, stepped down on Tuesday as a trustee of the Mayor’s Fund for London, a charity which raises money for social mobility and child education programmes.

Sadiq Khan as charity’s patron in 2016 accepted a £138,000 cash grant from Baturina’s Swiss-registered Be Open foundation she is wife of the former mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov.

Will Labour return the 1 million it received form Nevsky Fund which has Russia
investment in Gazprom , Lukoil and the Sberbank

Bet we could find loads if we looked for them from all parties .

No other party has attacked Russia more than the Tories , it started with Theresa May when she refused Roman Abramovich a visa then and he scurried off to Israel , bounced a record number of embassy staff back to Moscow from the guardian

In the grand scheme of things, this should be the least of your worries.

It is so beyond typical that the right wing of this forum find a way to defend this. The Tories have been bought out by the Russians which is why their sanctions when compared to the EU are so weak.

In the future they'll study this time period and wonder why we didn't do more to educate the elderly and school of life types from mass misinformation campaigns.

Isn't it strange how the older generations in Russia defend Putin, they sound almost identical in their ignorance to people on this forum.

They aren't though are they. You've just made that up. Which is a common theme. The EU may have seized a yacht or two. But Italy and Germany are effectively funding Russias war with gas supplies. The EU may be sanctioning more Oligarchs but the impact of that is seemingly negligible. Personally, I think it's great that the EU and UK are working so closely on all this.

The Real Politik of the situation that most people understand is that countries like Germany and Italy need Russian gas at the moment. They could stop buying it tomorrow, but their industrial base will shut down and the lights turn off.

I don't know why some people are intent on doing Putins bidding by trying to drive wedges between the Wests sanctions, which may or may not be tough enough, but are pretty much in step with eachother.

I haven't seen Zelenskyy talking about this. This is a tiny subsect of a huge war that a small number of people have got themselves enthusiastic about for their own political benefit.

The reality is the west collectively is twisting the knife on Putin. Whether that makes any difference remains to be seen. In the short term, it almost certainly won't.

Give it a chance, it's only just started. Come back when a few more items have been ticked off the list. There are so many paths to the next crisis following infectious diseases and interstate conflict. I like the look of the cyber attacks leading to information infrastructure breakdown, critical infrastructure failure, financial failure, and a fiscal crisis causing unimaginable inflation and energy price shock. This is still low the level stuff, and the biggies will come later.

But go on, keep supporting your corrupt tory comrades who've sold out the UK time after time after time after time.
