I'm pretty sure one of them will eventually have a go, and they both have homes in the area.

Would skip a generation and go for Ethan Ampadu. Maybe even as player manager!

I think Robert Page will be our next manager then who knows? Chris Gunter maybe? Can't see Bale or Ramsey taking on the job. They don't need to and will I can see them earning a living through TV work when it suits them.

Sir Alf would never have taken the job, even if he was alive today

They've both got the sort of profiles the FAW tend to favour, and the players themselves have a huge affinity with Welsh football.

Bale's a joker who'll spend his retirement playing golf and hanging out with his mates. He'll be some sort of ambassador for the Welsh FA for sure, but never a manager

The last time it was between Giggs & Bellamy, so there goes your theory out the window

A joker? He seems to take his captain's role pretty ****ing seriously.

Easy Mrs Bale, I wasn't being derogatory, it's well known that Bale is a bit of a joker and laid back. He's an absolutely unbelievable captain, he just doesn't strike me as the type to go into management

    Re: Future Wales Manager

I cant see Bale as a manager.

Ramsey may. So maybe in 25 years.

The preferred criteria for a Welsh manager seems to be 1) Welsh international, 2) former captain, 3) big club experience.

They actually have to want to do it as well, what about Bale suggests he's likely to go into management?

He cracked quite a few eggs in the process and that didn't make him popular. Speed and Coleman would never have had the success they did hadn't it been for Tosh (and Brian Flynn)
