A few year ago there’d be scrambles for tickets on here.
Both teams improving should be a decent game
Surprised not more sold
Would Wolves v West Brom in this division , Forest v Derby be sell outs ?
I don't know
I think a crowd approaching 30000 considering we are both safe isn't bad at all
Imo
two crap teams fighting it out in the bottom of the old second division...go figure
when we played them in the Premier league at the CCS there was 27500 in attendance. Looks like a Good turnout to me.
I'm not sure the CCFC ticket website helps - one minute the red seats are sold out next there are 100s of tickets going - I met a couple of lads from Scotland/England earlier asking if tkts were still available - who knows
In answer to the original poster .
Not enough people have bought tickets ?
Just a guess.
Lack of interest, even sky aren’t interested.
Another factor is how expensive life is at the moment. When some people are choose between eating and heating, football matches don’t even enter the equation unfortunately.
Tomorrow's crowd is fantastic and shows what a big game it is. 30,000+ is brilliant
A lot of vulnerable , elderly and families won't fancy this war zone .
I'm sure that there will be a bit of an edge.
I can still remember the rush of hopping over the Canton towards the Grandstand on that Friday Night game.
Smell of CS Gas in the air...lovely :)
Police leave is cancelled
A few years ago it would’ve been a sellout, then we built a new stand on top of our stadium. If we had 70k at the Millennium Stadium would you still complain it wasn’t a sell out? Look at the numbers, 30k for a meaningless game when both teams are safe and can’t be promoted. That’s gonna be one of the biggest crowds of the weekend, 6th biggest in all the football league by my reckoning.
Not bad for a team 17th in the second division.
27k sold a couple of days ago.
Crowd likely to be 28k + with capacity less than 30k
For a mid table game between 2 clubs with nothing but pride to play for .
Possibly the largest SWD crowd since maybe the 1950s ?
Anyone know the last time we had 29k for a SWD ??
Only one other near it and that was the 1st clash between the 2 clubs at the top level which was 28.5k
I’ve delayed my return to Poland for this and I’ve gone prawn sandwich as well, hope the butler is decent
I recall the days of 10,000 being a big crowd for this game
I was being a tad sarcastic.
I am not sure but there are a plenty of buses from all over Scotland at every Rangers game . Never used to register till I came down here and saw the amount of local people supporting Man U etc and wondering why?
Because of the bigotry its easier to attach yourself to either Rangers or Celtic , no matter where you live. Unfortunately.
