Not sure I am confusing the chilies with another band, but I vaguely remember being in bar in the hotel across the road from the CIA (Motorpoint) and the chilies walking through a crowd of us to cheers heading toward the CIA. I've googled it but can only find their Millenium stadium gig detailed in 2004.
Did they play the CIA in the 80s/90s ? Anyone know?

I can cease it now, I've just gone on their tour history and they've never played the CIA. It must have been when they played in the Millenium Stadium, either that or it was boyzone.
Brilliant
Faith No More played at the Ice Rink. Wasn't them was it?
(this thread) take it away take it away now.
tbf, if you can remember the 1990s, then you weren't actually there.
they only had one good album...Uplift mofo party plan, released 87 saw them around that time in copenhagen , blagged my way backstage to chat with flea and the guitarist that sadly died of drugs...saw them again in brixton early 90's they were rubbish
i've got tickets to see them at Old Trafford (cricket) in June. Seen them a couple of times before at The Ricoh and the NEC
great band live normally, Ive seen them a few times, last was at readings ground about 15 years ago (just checked it was 2006 )
saw them at a festival once ( might have been reading ) and they were so high they mixed up songs, so they were all playing different songs, forgot the words, this was at the height of the Heroin problem they had
Give it away was a great song
Perfect mix of funk , metal and rock
