Red Hot Chili Peppers In The CIA 80s/90s

Not sure I am confusing the chilies with another band, but I vaguely remember being in bar in the hotel across the road from the CIA (Motorpoint) and the chilies walking through a crowd of us to cheers heading toward the CIA. I've googled it but can only find their Millenium stadium gig detailed in 2004.

Did they play the CIA in the 80s/90s ? Anyone know?

I can cease it now, I've just gone on their tour history and they've never played the CIA. It must have been when they played in the Millenium Stadium, either that or it was boyzone.

I'm pretty sure they played P.C.'s on City Rd. one night back in the 80s. Don't ask me how or why, but it is in the deep recesses of my memory that they did.

I'd hazard a guess that it was either before or after a gig at T.J.'s in Newport

great band live normally, Ive seen them a few times, last was at readings ground about 15 years ago (just checked it was 2006 )

saw them at a festival once ( might have been reading ) and they were so high they mixed up songs, so they were all playing different songs, forgot the words, this was at the height of the Heroin problem they had
