Not sure I agree. After WW1 Forest spent 18 of their next 51 seasons in the top flight. After promotion in 1977 they won the league in their first season back and spent 16 years in the top flight. Only twice in those 16 years did they finish outside the top half, with 7 finishes in the top 5. In the 28 seasons since Clough stepped down, 4 have been in the top division.

Since WW1 Forest have had 38 seasons in the top flight, 57 in the 2nd tier and 5 in the third.

Indeed. They've won 75 points since he was appointed, winning 22 out of 36 games. Fulham, the runaway champions, have won 71 points and won 21 out of 36 games during the same period.

I'd rather Forest go up and have a weekend away in Bournemouth next season

No doubt Forest deserve this, the way they've turned themselves around is not dissimilar to us under Sir Neil.

    Still scabby feckers though!

Forest- better manager. The Swans should never have let him go.

It might be more than that? We need Bournemouth to go up one way or another

    You cannot be serious.

First time we played them they were in a mess mind.

2nd time was probably out best performance of the season

Weekend in Nottingham is pretty decent too.

I agree. Although very possible they will both go up as I’d say both would be favourites in the play offs

Moore & Mepham on the bench for Bournemouth, while Johnson starts for Forest.

Has Keiffer just sealed our extra £1m there?

A lot needs to go wrong now. Shame, cos I'd rather Forest as this Bournemouth team would get broken up but we need the money.

Forest not in it second half. Really well worked free kick for the goal.

Kieffer Moore actually trying, what a sight to behold.

Moore scores, and Brooks is back in the Premier League

Forest didn't have a kick in the second half.

Todd Cantwell wasn't even on the bench for Bournemouth this evening. His career seems to have nosedived this season. Apparently, Norwich want £10m for him!

Looks like an additional £1.5 m for Moore

Great goal. If that was scored against us we'd all be complaining.

One observation I had was that Bournemouth gave everything to tonight. They won the 50-50s, the 40-60s, the 30-70s. They did the ugly but necessary things well. Excellent performance from them.

Moore was fantastic when he came on. Forest were awful second half, didn't get going. Moore held the ball up, played others in and it was a great finish. Still think they need a lot more work than Fulham, wonder what they do. I can't seem them staying up.
