    Good News Story

See there's a big push to get prisoners due for release straight into employment to take away the re offending risk, I didn't know Timpsons has been emplying said prisoners for 20 years and they now report many other businesses are doing the same .

This hopefully will lead to prisons main drive will be to introduce offenders to prepare for employment rather than just detain them and then release them into nothing which sees them revert to bad practices. .

You're right - the only way you'll reduce reoffending rates is by giving prisoners an alternative to their previous lives. Timpsons are a great employer in many ways by all accounts.

I’ve used Timpsons quite a bit in the last year, the staff are always friendly and quite often entertaining too. Plus they are very helpful and good at what they do. The owner James is worth a follow on Twitter, not for his politics, but the ethos of the business is laudable.
