I suspect that we're going to be linked with every player leaving Millwall this summer.

    Where art he now?

    Re: Mahlon Romeo

he's under contract at milwall until 2024, so unless its a loan or they're going to mutually terminate the contract I can't see it

Genuinely taken aback with some of those comments.

Not sure how it works with other black players there (Afobe etc) and conscious an online forum isn't anywhere near a full sample size, but if that's anything to go by, a one-way ticket out of the club may well be his preference, understandably.

    Re: Mahlon Romeo

When you get past the racism on the Millwall link they seem to think he is a player who has gone backwards

For Portsmouth he has been on the bench for the last 6 games mostly unused.

This Portsmouth Forum link is not exactly favourable

Unfortunately, as times are hard, perhaps we should expect to be shopping in Poundland. A player that once might have amounted to something that Morison might think he could get a tune out of again

Or, of course, the story is total b*llocks

High energy players in the squad is the way forward to be fair to Millwall their success when Morison was with them was based on that very high energy game and they were a difficult side to beat

Their position this season indicates they are still tough to beat

    Re: Mahlon Romeo

I think he would be an excellent signing and although still under contract I can't see him playing for Millwall again and should be available quite cheaply.. or a loan with a view to a permanent deal.

God we need some energy and pace in the team. City have bored me shitless for years with only the occasional bit of excitement.

Did you read what the Portsmouth fans said about him?
    ...
    "No end product"
"Runs into dead-ends quite a lot"
"No more than a squad player"

Sounds a bit like Kadeem Harris.

yes, he spoke out about them booing when the players took the knee

I know a Millwall fan from years back, he said they hate him with a passion

    Not really sure that’s Romeo’s fault…

    Re: Mahlon Romeo

Every time I’ve seen Millwall play he’s looked their weakest link. Putting in perspective their other full back looked a far better player - Scott Malone

Praying for Drameh to return to be honest

    Its not

Maybe SM thinks he can reignite Mahlon career, when he was younger he was tipped to make it in the football world
