Just finishing TopBoy 2 on Netflix. This is cracking stuff.
Ashley Walters is a strong charismatic presence.
My son recommended this to me as he knows I like gangster stuff.
It starts with Top Boy Summerhouse 1 and 2 then Top Boy 1 and Top Boy 2. The terrific reviews are justified.

Just finished Winning Time. About to watch the last episode of Ozark and the new season of Barry.
And of course, Better Call Saul. Probably going to start the 2nd season of Russian Doll soon.

Really enjoyed it.
Having worked a little bit in that particular sector, it is surprisingly accurate!
C4 only had two series of Tot Boy Summerhouse (4 episodes each). Netflix revived it three years ago with TopBoy (10 episodes) and TopBoy 2 which came out a few weeks ago and is 8 episodes. If you enjoyed Summerhouse you will really like Top Boy as it’s better.
BCS is wonderful. Pleased it can’t be binged with the final series only showing weekly episodes. It’s so cleverly written, brilliantly acted with production and direction that make it all look so effortless.
I havent looked at Top Boy as the title put me off. Made me think of the dreadful almost comic Rise of the Footsoldier garbage.

The title doesn’t do it any favours. Check out the reviews. They are justified. It’s very good. Start with TopBoy Summerhouse 1 and 2. Then TopBoy to follow this in order. It’s all on Netflix.

I'm half way through the current series, having watched the previous ones. It is excellent. I was almost put off by the title too!
Top boy is alright, not much to watch at mo, not that I watch much anyway these days. Just finished ozark which got going after a slow start. WTching the Lakers thing but not so fussed, anyone recommend anything new ish?
Currently watching SWAT, its a easy watch, stick in on with the wife and youngest daughter and relax for 45 Mins, just finished S1
it trys to make a few social messages at times, the teams Sarge got the job cause he is black when it should have gone to someone else who is white, the teams captain is captain because she is female and black , it tackles the Gang and police issues in LA, but its all pretty low key and not too heavy, a bit of action ( think fast and furious style stuff )
Got to say I do have a guilty pleasure in Below Deck Mediterranean.
Another recommendation for Top Boy - just make sure you watch 'Summerhouse' first. Also watching Better Call Saul (new episode tonight), as it gets closer and closer to merging into Breaking Bad (which is probably the best ever TV series, if you've not seen it). Also watching Outer Regions and Russian Doll.
