Mainstream media news in every country is tailored towards the narrative its government promotes. We are to believe Putin is a despot whose army consist of murderous thugs, while Ukraine's leader is saintly and his troops are kindly humanitarians. The coverage from both camps is ridiculously one-sided.
The thing Is Putin IS a despot. He has had so many journalists murdered, and political rivals murdered or imprisoned. He’s plundered the state for his own personal wealth and that of his supporters, and he rules through a combination of fear and misinformation.
