    Re: Long Haul Flight Prices

we had super cheap flights booked for the summer of the 1st lockdown, under 400 quid to Orlando ( we normally are happy to pay £650 - £700 ) cancelled the 1st lot and got out money back, booked for last year, still decent prices at under £500, couldn't get our money back so got credit, used that credit towards this years flights at just over £800 ish but its a 1st world issue, so we are ok with that ( they are now £1500 each )

America could help the airline situation ( for US flights ) by binning the testing before you fly

BUT, a few decent deals to be had with the charter airlines like TUI, yesterday they had MAN to MCO for £220 return going this week and next, I guess they are just filling empty seats

I don’t even know what that is… it’s bound to swing around here again in October just before we fly to Tampa!

If you have tested positive for C19 in the last 60 days ( via a LFT or PCR ) you send proof ( the NHS E.mail or text ) to a " online doctor " and they issue you with a " certificate of recovery " so you dont need to do the Supervised LFT 24 hours before you fly and that might be positive due to recent infection

costs 100 quid for a family of 4

of course it would be very wrong to " test positive " the month before you fly just to be able to get a recovery cert and I know you would ever do that, as you appear to be a very honest trustworthy type of bloke
