    John Lewis. Signed from Pontllanfraith. Excellent at left back or left wing. Disappointingly went to Newport as part of the Nigel Vaughan swop deal. Next to Delaney he's been the best non league signing for City I've ever seen. Bishop comes close.

    Going back to Cardiff Corinthians, they’re one year older than the City, being founded in 1898 but I don’t think Bridgend Street can be beaten as the oldest club in Cardiff, began in 1889. Although you could argue that the Corries & The Mish are way older on the ‘still using the original name stance’ given the Riverside & Riverside Albion days.
