A look at some stats from the 2021/22 season.

Looking solely at results and goals.

    Overall:

15 wins (ranked 51st out of 96 league seasons).
    8 draws (77th)
    23 defeats (86th)
    50 scored (74th)
    68 conceded (65th)
    7 clean sheets (78th)
17 games where we failed to score (84th)
3 times when we scored 3 or more in a game (94th) (bonus point for anyone who can say when we had a season where we only scored 3 or more once in the entire league campaign)

    Home form:

    7 wins (77th)
    12 defeats (94th)
    22 scored (92nd)
    29 conceded (70th)
    4 clean sheets (81st)
11 failed to score (95th, joint worst)

    Away form:

    8 wins (20th)
    11 defeats (47th)
    28 scored (21st)
    39 conceded (59th)
    3 clean sheets (58th)
    6 failed to score (24th)

2021/22 was one of only 3 seasons where we won more games away than at home. We also scored more away from home and failed to score 5 times fewer than at home.

One positive from the season was our away form. It kept us up. On average we get 15 points more at home than away. If that had been replicated we would have been in massive trouble. As it was, we were never in deep trouble throughout the season.

Failed to score 5 times fewer than at home. Quite straightforward, unless I'm missing something.
