I don’t think so. I read earlier that ex player Steven Deffour was in the frame, another Belgian.

I thought Bellamy left Anderlect earlier this season, citing mental health issues?

He did leave Anderlecht. Maybe he’s ready for a return to the game with his mate Vinnie.

Looks like Bellers to Burnley is about to be announced!

    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...donas-24321818

Former Man City captain Vincent Kompany gave Craig Bellamy a glowing reference at his first Burnley press conference.

Vincent Kompany described Craig Bellamy as "misunderstood" ahead of his expected appointment to Burnley's coaching staff.

The pair worked together at Anderlecht and are now set to be re-united at Turf Moor, with Kompany all-but confirming as much in his first Burnley press conference on Friday. "He’s someone I have huge respect for," said the Belgian when asked about Bellamy.

"He’s incredibly gifted and he’s a typical misunderstood guy who gives so much, if I can have him with me, I will. Just give me three or four days to make sure."

One of the players has already posted a photo of Bellers coaching him.
