Thread: Wrexham.

    Re: Wrexham.

Both sides almost score a fifth within thirty seconds of each other. Palmer misses a good chance for Wrexham from a corner

Ya, he’s got a cracking left hook

    Re: Wrexham.

Wrexham have now had two clearer penalties turned down than the one they were given - the ref has added to the entertainment in a way, but he’s not very good.

    ET far quieter.

Always is. Pens should be taken on 90 mins. Winner gets a goal.

Every goal in ET is then worth 2. Would be much better.

    Re: Wrexham.

    4-5 long throw abysmal defending.

    Re: Wrexham.

5-4 Grimsby, header direct from a long throw.

Hope they haven’t sold their Wales tickets

    Re: Wrexham.

That’s 6 play off failures for Wrexham. Just like Reading. Hugely disappointing.
At least Wrexham fans won’t need to sell their Wales play off final tickets

    Re: Wrexham.

Not sure I've ever seen a better game than that. Heartbreaking.

    Re: Wrexham.

Finished 5-4 to Grimsby. Wrexham have been way too one dimensional in the closing weeks of the season given the advantages they had over all but Stockport - they need a change of manager.

On to the League Two Play Off Final now!

looks like they put everything into the 90... smashing game, shame for wrexham

felt that pens would be the way to sort this... great game though

Fully agree. Best supported club in the division. Huge budget. Yet they haven’t gone up. I feel for their fans.

    Re: Wrexham.

I thought Wrexham were either going to stuff them or Grimsby were going to spoil the party, so I bet on Wrexham to score 4, and also bet on grimsby to win the tie. I did not ever see BOTH bets winning!

    Re: Wrexham.

When they beat Stockport they were top of the table, albeit Stockport had a game in hand. Wrexham have had 3 cup finals since then. Had to win at Dagenham to have any chance of the title - lost. Trophy final - lost. Playoff semi final - lost. How their season fell apart in 3 games.

Today was one hell of a game but conceding 5 at home was not acceptable.

Yep. Scoring goals has not been a problem but they have conceded too many. Whether they can hold onto Mullen now becomes an issue. You can’t win a play off conceding five at home.

    And breathe ….

Allegiances now with Solihull & Neil Ardley

I was thinking about that Stockport result too. They peaked too soon.

Mullins already made the decision to play at this level.

    Cant see him going anywhere.

Going Port Vale's way at the moment. 2 - 0 up and playing against 10 men

The Man City of the conference and you feel sorry for not achieving what they’ve tried to buy?
