Any reason why Tom Lawrence isn't in Welsh squads lately?

He's been linked with a Premier League move soon and has been very good last few years. After our two subs today, we were really hurting for any extra talent to come on from the bench.

I seem to remember something about him not wanting to be in the squad any more as he was never selected. I'd definitely have in the squad - probably the best Welsh goalscorer currently playing

Kieffer Moore has almost as many goals from 13 fewer games and Brennan Johnson has scored 7 more than Lawrence.
even Harry Wilson has scored only one less than Lawrence from midfield

IMHO Lawrence is the more accomplished player in front of goal - can score from distance too. Yes, Moore's record for Wales is better, but give the choice of either player in a good footballing City side I'd pick Lawrence..

It’s odd that someone like Jonny Williams playing in League two makes the squad but not Lawrence. Presumably he is seen as a disruptive influence.

I would have Moore back in a heartbeat if he was up for it

Tom Lawrence has never scored more than 11 goals in a Championship season, but he's a more accomplished player in front of goal than Kieffer Moore. Not sure I agree with that.

Page has said as much. He is not a fan.

Page doesn’t like him. No doubt he should get in the squad but with who we have I don’t imagine he would be getting much game time.

Agreed. He's not as good as Wilson and Johnson, so I don't see where he'd get a look in. Still, he should be in a 23. Oh well, I trust Page's judgement.
