    Same.

Nowhere near as bad as Blackpool but Turners equaliser was one of the greatest moments ive had as a City fan but all ruined by the shootout.

On the plus side, if we had won and had European committments the following season, would we have gained promotion ?

We walked the league that year, so I'd say yes.

I'd take a trophy any day over promotion. Even more so in hindsight that we were relegated a season later anyway.

Now, I too would take a trophy over promotion but at the time getting into the Premier League was the main target. When we did achieve promotion I wondered at the time whether losing that final was a blessing in disguise. Hindsight though offers a different perspective.

I do remember the feeling that we had to get to the premier league, near misses, financial instability, a feeling that after that Blackpool match we were cursed to never get there.

I enjoyed some of the matches there but the chase was very much more interesting for me. Unless you are able to make a proper fist of it, which twice we have failed to do.

Would still prefer we were there of course competing, but it's not the be all and end all I had built up in my mind prior to 2013.

A good day out, of course it didn't end as we wanted, but Bens goal was as good as it gets

Pretty much sums up how I feel about it.

indeed, but the sense of being down and out and beaten to scoring a eqauliser was a special moment

    Re: City on sky tonight

Is it my imagination, or have Sky shown this at least once a month for years?

I have watched it through twice since Christmas (fast forwarded the penalties).

As a schedule filler, it has more to recommend it than most cup finals!

The Ben Turner goal never loses its magic.

The 2010 play-off final has appeared more often in the last year or so too.

Seems to be on every other day at the minute, along with when Wycombe won the playoffs.

How many times are they going to keep showing it ? Time to move on.

    I watched bits of it.
Every time I see it, Kenny's miss around 85 minutes seems to get worse. (and his pen)
