Not particularly enthused by this signing. Leicester fans seem to think he's a bit shit and "couldn't pass the ball 2 yards" and then there's this high/low light from his time in Scotland.

It wouldn't be a new Cardiff City signing though, if there wasn't a long line of people waiting to write him off before he had kicked a ball for us, would it ?

Bit of an odd one but I can't for the life of me think we've signed a first choice full back here.

Is it permissible to say that this signing, like two or three of the others, has a “squad member” look to it rather than someone who is going to, say, be the replacement for Drameh?

He is only 21 to be fair probably down in confidence of no game time at Leicester then shunted off the a struggling Dundee club perhaps game time around other younger players will bring him along Gunners and Foxes must have seen something in the lad to take him on those gigs are not easy to get at that level .

I do wonder if Morison during his U23 role has spotted a few of these young lads showing promise at that level ??

Reading about him on a Dundee FC forum, he can pass the ball well, he's quick and can get past a player with pace, not easily shrugged off the ball, is good in an attacking sense but not great defensively. Here's a selection of comments about him as a defender:

    "rash and unpredictable defending"
"the boy sure likes to jump into boys at some force"
    "erratic"
    "prone to errors"

Anybody worked out his scrabble score?

Seems more of a wingback than a fullback. Be interesting, Morisons seems to like a wingback who can carry the ball and get forward which he does. I did wonder if we were moving away from wingbacks but maybe Morison will be mixing it up.

With a name that long you’d be surely crossing a few double/triple letter bonuses.

Sounds exactly like Bamba before he came to us, then turned into a fan favourite

Actually his name is too long to fit on a Scrabble board, which is 15 squares down and across. Our esteemed new signing has a whopping 19 letters to his name. What a guy !

What is the longest ever name for us?

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is 20 letters. Did that Greek keeper top that? (Agent Dimi)

    What about the shortest?

Perry Ng and Tom Sang in a 7s. Joe Day is a sad loss, apart from on a football field.

To be fair you'd expect most of those things from a young full back. Hopefully they can be ironed out with game time and good coaching.

He does look a bit of a lump mind.

Best tie his laces together and play him up front where he can do least damage by the sound of it. Looks like the sort who would knock himself out doing the Ayatollah!

My tongue was firmly in cheek! Looking forward to seeing him play (but may take a bet on how long it takes him to get a card/score an own goal/take one of our own players out).

Fair play, as comparisons go that's one of the most ridiculous I've ever seen on here, which is saying something.

I seem to remember Bamba being erratic, and he was definitely unpredictable, usually making last minute full stretch leg out tackles and blocks.

I know you seem to have this thing going with Underhill, but I could see what he was getting at.
