Are you kidding?. He might not be a goalscorer but hes a better footballer than those 3 combined.

I don’t get what he offers.

Not goals based on his career so far. He is only 23, though.

What a thoroughly disappointing transfer if true.

Yeah let’s not give a chance to a player who hasn’t even played….or signed for us

Underwhelmed if this is accurate. Flattered to deceive every time I’ve seen him play for Wales, and to a much lesser extent Leeds. Never struck me as an out and out striker. Hope he proves me wrong if he signs.

    Re: Tyler Roberts

I think it could be a very shrewd signing. If you look at just his goals then, yes, it doesn’t look great on paper. But let’s not forget a lot of his appearances were in a struggling Leeds team or off the bench with limited game time.

Apologies for not having a happy go lucky opinion.. He doesn't excite me, I don't think he's a very good player at Championship level let alone Premier League. I very much hope he proves me wrong if he were too sign.

Tyler Roberts scored 6 of Leeds' 181 goals in the Championship and Premier League over the last three seasons.

Those statistics mean absolutely nothing. How many games did he start and how many times did he come on as a sub. I would think that the answer to both would be not many.

    Re: Tyler Roberts

I'd be happy with this, industrious player and more skillful than he is given credit for. Lacks a bit in front of goal but I think he has enough to offer.

    Re: Tyler Roberts

The one thing in his favour is his age. 23, means he has it all to prove, because next stop is league 1 if he doesn't do it for us. People are sceptical and i get that considering his goal scoring record, but that can sometime be circumstantial, we don't know what his role as a striker has been, we don't know if he's been the one running the lines in order to create space for the main striker, without seeing him play or what he has been expected to do then it's difficult to come to any concrete conclusions on Roberts. You never know....

Good point about his age and us not knowing his role as a striker. I like the lad and would be very happy to see him in a Cardiff shirt.

Fair enough, just like to see players given a chance
