    Loads of my mates also came wi’ me
    Over to Wellfield to get us a Thayers
    Some of the boys craved a ‘separate’ Players
    Football on Saturdays and sometimes the nights
    A tingle inside seeing the massive floodlights
    Soccer Sunday & Match of the Day
    You’d swear I was Matthews if you’d seen me play
