    Re: spotify

If you're using it on a web browser, install the ublock origin extension and you can use the free version of spotify without any limitations.

Can you explain that to an idiot

I have the Spotify app installed and my next move was going to be to pay for the monthly subscription

    Re: spotify

If you can get a free trial or pay for a month you can at least add your favourite songs to a play list. It will still shuffle them when your back on the free one though. I think you can skip so many.

    Re: spotify

Sure! It won't work with the app or on mobile/tablet though.

On your pc/laptop, do the following -

If you're using chrome or edge download the extension here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...jbkeiagm?hl=en

If you're using Firefox download it here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/fir...ublock-origin/

If you are using any other type of adblock extension you can uninstall it.

Open go to https://open.spotify.com/ and enjoy!

If you haven't got a computer best to sign up for a trial and give it a go.

I was just about to say to you, there are lots of free trials and the 3month one is good. Apple is another one who do it and Amazon Music (the one that comes with Prime isn't the full catalogue).

My view is, I end up listening to more artists which means I'll buy their albums to support them (or go to a gig if it's possible). I kind of treat them like demos these days.

Because I'm tight I've been using the free version for years. The ads are pretty unobtrusive to be fair. Apart from removing the ads is there a huge advantage in paying for the service?

I think you can download albums to your phone or tablet memory with the version you pay for ?

Although I don't see the point of that

Where there's no wifi - it's those kind of situations I like to have a playlist downloaded on my phone like the old iPod days.
