    Sherwood BBC

Half way through it looks good so far, what do you think of the storyline?

For those that haven't seen it, it's based on the miners strike!

Started fairly well then got convoluted and ridiculous. Most of the plot went nowhere. Finished it off but only because I'd wasted 5 hours on it before

OK ta, I'll watch the last two, I quite liked the first three some good actors in it and interesting to see a bit of what it may have been like in Nottingham.

Most things on that channel are ridiculous.

An evil government with an evil leader still having repercussions to this day. How could any man be a scab? Then again the evil witch dropped them like a shit house seat as well.

Wonderful drama , a must watch , so many good actors and performances , the emotions were so well played out .

I found myself split between the feelings of the angry minders and those who needed to work and were brave to do so .

This is an interesting fact I did not know I though it was all Thatcher or was told that back in the day :
Harold Wilson (Labour) closed 253 pits as against Margaret Thatcher (Conservative) 115, more than twice as many .

this is well worth a read http://www.healeyhero.co.uk/rescue/i...-Closures.html

Yeah, I agree. Given the theme it could have been so much better. Really disappointing.

Started off well but lost its storyline by the end.

Some powerful dialogue regarding the Thatcher era and the Tories in general.
